Title: Strife and torment.
Rating: R
Warnings/Spoilers: Implications of torture. A rather dark Arthur.
Notes: I blame rose_walker22 for this. She planted a seed with her wonderful What If. Companion piece to Forget the rest.
Summary: If he mourns the loss of his friend, his one-time lover, then he does so in the privacy of his dreams.

( Arthur, crowned king six months, avoids the dungeons. )

Title: Forget the rest.
Rating: R
Warnings/Spoilers: Torture, implications of a dark Arthur. Slight madness?
Notes: This one... *flails* I don't even know. It just happened. Companion piece to Strife and torment.
Summary: There is one area left untouched, just over his heart, where he’s told he’ll wear the dragon crest.

( Merlin huddles in his dark cell, careful not to lean against the wall. )

Additional Note: This now has a sequel of sorts, Saints Without God.

Title: Coeur Loyal
Rating: Pg-13
Warnings/Spoilers: Oh, good lord, yes. Spoilers for everything, probably. Also, for this story I have killed the epilogue, cut it up into little tiny pieces, stitched what I liked back together, and mailed the rest back to JKR. Also also, contains infidelity and mpreg, though not detailed.
Notes: The idea and title for this come from the life of King Henry VIII. All parts can be found via the series tag. In this story, Merlin is a title, like Caesar or - to a lesser degree - Minister. The concept for that comes from Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon books and has little or no bearing on the actual people Myrddin, or much grounds in the Arthurian legend. Anyhow, here I'm using it in the way Caesar was used in Rome: it's a title awarded by the Wizengamot to wizards who perform extraordinary service for Wizarding Britain. It's a step up from Order of Merlin, First Class, and is rarely awarded.
Summary: "A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter." - Proverbs 11:13

( It’s the story of my family, and it might be called cautionary. )

Title: For all time.
Rating: G
Warnings/Spoilers: None! Amazingly enough... Well, it is a reincarnation fic, so maybe implied death?
Notes: The result of a long bus ride. I am shocked at my ability to actually write keep this drabble-length.
Summary: "What is obtained by love is retained for all time." - Mohandas K. Gandhi

( Merlin spent a good two centuries miserable, alone, while he waited for Arthur’s return. )

Title: Most noble till the end.
Rating: R, to be safe? Closer to pg-13, I think.
Warnings/Spoilers: Character death. Uhm, kind of a lot. And violence, though only graphic in the aftermath.
Notes: See this? I have no idea how this happened; I swear. I opened Word to work on another project, and a half hour later, I had this. First time posting fic on lj; first Merlin fic, period. Please be kind! (Also, I think I got the tags right, but if not, please let me know.)
Summary: "For words divide and rend; But silence is most noble till the end." - Algernon Charles Swinburne, 'Atalanta'

( The first time Arthur saw the proof with his own eyes, Merlin wound up dead. )
